Discover the gems of the Semois Valley

Location near Vresse-sur-Semois and Laforêt

Our campsite is located in one of the most beautiful regions of the Ardennes. Vresse-sur-Semois is known as a true artists' village, surrounded by dense forests and the babbling river.

Whether you come for absolute silence or a sporting challenge, the area offers something for everyone. A definite must-see is the nearby Laforêt, officially recognized as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Wallonia".

This authentic village, just a stone's throw from the campsite, seems frozen in time with its characteristic slate houses and the famous "Pont de Claies" (the wicker bridge). For hikers, Laforêt is the starting point for the most spectacular routes in the region.

Did you know that you can walk from our campsite to one of the most unique sights in the Ardennes?

The Pont de Claies near Laforêt is the last authentic wicker bridge in the region. This remarkable bridge, woven from willow branches, is hand-built every summer as soon as the water level of the Semois is low enough.

A walk across this wobbling bridge is an absolute must for all ages — a small piece of living history in the middle of nature!

Relaxation by the waterside

For lovers of peace and angling, our campsite is a true paradise. The Semois is known for its rich fish stock and beautiful banks.

Whether you are an experienced fisherman coming for trout or simply want to enjoy the silence by the water's edge: the babbling river near the campsite offers the perfect spot.

Don't forget to arrange the necessary Ardennes fishing permits in advance.
